Keynote Speaker at Alma Mater – My Journey in Law & Publishing
I recently had a wonderful and absolutely surreal day where I journeyed back to my alma mater, Merion Mercy Academy, to give a Mercy in Action talk about my legal and publishing journey with the school's current student body. I'll admit, I was *very nervous* -- look at all those students!! -- but Merion girls are such a kind and welcoming crew, and I immediately felt back at home ❤️❤️❤️
While the school has made so many incredible updates and advancements, the heart of MMA is *exactly* as I remember it -- smiles and waves through the halls, the insatiable curiosity (the girls had such excellent questions, and so much interest!), and a passionate commitment to learning.
I also got to speak with award-winning producer and all-around amazing person Kelly McElvey yesterday evening -- we talked about writing inspiration, WITH REGRETS, THE ANTIQUITY AFFAIR, and our MMA experiences -- and was able to connect with so many Merion alums, faculty, and community members.
Just an unforgettable, fantastic experience. My heart is full, and I'm very grateful!! THANK YOU MMA!
